In today's Mobility For Muscle we're talking about re-thinking how you execute the deadlift. What do you actually FEEL when you deadlift? What does your brain tension to pick up that weight off the ground? What muscles are doing the work? What joints are doing the work? I'm going through a nice checklist for you to feel the stuff you want being worked in a deadlift. SO often, all over Instagram especially, people are doing lumbar lifts where their lower back is doing most of the work in their deadlifts. Sure, you can do it and your body will adapt to continue to do it (developing BIG ASS erectors in your lower back), but where does that leave your hips?
